Upgrade your home sauna experience with our premium rounded olivine diabase stones.
Transform your home sauna into a professional-grade wellness retreat with our premium rounded olivine diabase sauna stones. By allowing water to penetrate deeper into the stone layers, these high-density stones ensure consistent heat generation and a more relaxing environment. Whether you are building a new sauna sanctuary or refreshing an existing heater, choosing the right material is vital for both performance and longevity.
The Advantage of Olivine Diabase for Heat Retention
Olivine diabase is widely recognized for its exceptional thermal durability and safety. Unlike lesser materials, these stones are carefully selected to be free from harmful ingredients, ensuring a clean and aromatic environment every time you pour water over your heater. The rounded shape is specifically engineered to promote superior airflow throughout the heater elements.
Achieving Optimal Steam Quality
For heaters with smaller capacities, we suggest using angular stones in the lower layers to provide a larger surface area for water vaporization, while placing these elegant rounded stones on the top layer to achieve the signature soft steam that characterizes a luxurious sauna experience. Each 33 lb box is perfectly curated to provide the density needed for consistent, long-lasting heat.

Frequently asked
What is the weight and size of these sauna stones?
Each box contains 33 lbs of high-quality olivine diabase stones. The individual stones range from 2 to 4 inches (5-10 cm) in diameter.
Why should I choose rounded stones over angular ones?
Rounded stones provide a softer, more gentle steam experience compared to angular stones. Their shape promotes better airflow through the heater, which protects the heating elements and ensures more efficient heat distribution.
How should I arrange the stones in my heater?
You should pile the stones loosely to allow for air circulation. For smaller heaters, it is recommended to place angular stones at the bottom for more surface area and use these rounded stones on the top layer for superior steam quality.
